Wrestlers are minors. These rules come first.
Privacy and removal
NJ Wrestle Scout tries to predict wrestling matchups using publicly available data. If you are one of the listed athletes, or their parent or guardian, you can be taken off this site — and you do not have to say why. We are not affiliated with NJSIAA or associated recreation leagues — you will have to contact them directly for removal from their databases.
Ask us to remove a wrestler
Send us the request and we will take them off the site. No explanation is needed and none will be asked for. Tell us the wrestler’s name and school so we remove the right person.
Request a removalThis opens the feedback form — just say which wrestler and school, and that you are asking for a removal.
What this site stores
Only these things, and only where they are publicly published:
- the wrestler’s name, as source spells it
- their school and class year
- their weight class
- their match results — opponent, outcome, score
That is the whole list. Everything on this site is worked out from those results.
What this site will never store
No photographs. None are stored, cached, linked to, or shown. This holds even if a future source offers them.
No date of birth, no address, no phone number or email, no height or body measurements beyond the weight class they wrestled at, no grades or academic records, no social media accounts.
We do not combine this data with anything from anywhere else to build a fuller picture of a young person.
Predictions are about matches, not people
The site forecasts who is likely to win a bout. It does not grade wrestlers, rank their potential, or say anything about them as athletes beyond what their results show.
When there is not much evidence, the site says so on the prediction itself rather than presenting a confident-looking guess. A wrong call about a fourteen-year-old shown to their coach or parent has a real cost, so thin data is labelled thin data.
What removal actually does
A removed wrestler’s name stops appearing anywhere on the site — team pages, lineups, matchups, everywhere. Their bouts still count toward their opponents’ records, because deleting a result would change other wrestlers’ records too, but the person is not named.
We keep only what is needed to keep them removed, and nothing else.
Anything else
